January was a month of colour, connection, and conscious inclusion at General Mills India as we proudly celebrated Mumbai Queer Pride Month. At GMI, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
Throughout the month, our teams came together to learn, celebrate, and amplify the spirit of inclusivity through a series of engaging initiatives:
🌈 Pride Quiz on the Floor – An interactive and fun way to deepen awareness around LGBTQ+ history, culture, and allyship.
🎤 Pride Bingo with a Drag Artist – A joyful celebration of self-expression, filled with laughter, colour, and fabulous energy. Pride Bingo came alive at General Mills India with the fabulous drag artists Zeesh and ShayD.
👜 Design Your Pride Cloth Bag – Creativity met sustainability as employees designed pride-themed cloth bags showcasing individuality and support.
👕 Wear Your Colours – Yammer Contest – A colourful close to the month, with colleagues proudly wearing rainbow hues and sharing their allyship.
We concluded our Mumbai Pride Month celebrations by joining the Pride March at August Kranti Maidan. The event was vibrant and inspiring, filled with color, energy, and a powerful spirit of inclusivity. Proud to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate diversity beyond the workplace.
These moments reflect our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and our belief that a truly inclusive workplace is one where everyone belongs. Huge appreciation to our teams for participating with such passion and heart.
